Welcome to the web site of Star Center, a non-profit educational community center in Berdychiv (Berdichev), Ukraine!
The Star Center was opened in 2007 as a collaborative project of the Jewish Community of Berdychiv and the United States Peace Corps in Ukraine.
The center provides services for all members of the greater community of Berdychiv, including children, youth and adults. Our current programs focus on English language enrichment, volunteerism training and participation, leadership training, civic education, life-management strategies and personal development.
The Star Center leadership is committed to responsible and sustainable NGO-management that will benefit the local community in Berdychiv, Ukraine. We are always looking for sponsors, both within Ukraine and from our international community of friends, who will make a financial commitment to support our programs.
